A Bit About Me..

Along with my service for Animal Rights & Well Being, I facilitate for & coach Women, Couples, Gay Men, and Women from 18 yrs on with their Intimate Health and Well Being.

Authoring "A Chance to Soar" a book that speaks of women who take risks to achieve true intimacy.

No, I'm no Dr. Ruth, but I'm all about relationships. Men & Women, Young & Old, Lover's & Friends.

I believe in Love, Relationships, staying together for a lifetime, or as long as possible.

I believe the basis for a healthy relationship is Warmth, Compassion, Intelligence, & Caring.

My life for 3 decades, was mothering, nursing, & teaching. I was called the matriarch of mothers, grin. I was invited to work with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, that was huge. I was continually applauded for my out of the box teaching techniques, I loved creating. I could never have guessed I would see this as a future endeavor and now.... I feel, I waited much to long and needlessly to reach out and touch the world of human intimacy . I don't like to sound gloomy. Some of you may know first hand or hear second hand, of peoples intimate health being in shambles. Teens, oh my gosh, teens are sooo watching us? Many relationships are to weak to last long, and couples married for over 40 years dissolving, oh so much beauty... 'not going on'. From my teens through my adult life, I have treated all situations holistically, be it illness or disease, children's growing pains, or adult issues. My life has evolved in a large part through coming together with others in an exploration of honest communication, pooling each others wonderful energies and knowledge.

We are much more 'able' than we think to solve and use the values of prevention in our lives. Maybe if we share the beauty of communication, we may just decide we can in fact 'make every moment count' and naturally.

Keeping a balance between all that we do in our lives is a true challenge in relationships.

The most important fact to remember is you are not alone. Having challenges or issues is more common than you may think.

My hope is that you will join with this effort and as a result be inspired and implement what you have learned.

Need for Better Education about Chlamydia

A study from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta has shown the need for education about Chlamydia for young people. The survey of 789 students found that freshmen younger than 20 were 70% more likely to pick up Chlamydia than those aged 20 to 24. Women are especially vulnerable since they often have no symptoms, but infection can lead to infertility. The CDC recommends that all sexually active women under age 25 be tested.
